SALD ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our CRM and Email Marketing services integrated with Gmail.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our services, we collect the following types of information via Google OAuth:

  • Identity Information: Your name and email address to identify your account and personalize your outgoing communications.
  • Gmail Data (Sensitive): Through the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope, we access your Gmail account only to send emails on your behalf.
  • Usage Data: Technical information on how you interact with the extension to improve performance and user experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Email Campaigns: Facilitating the delivery of bulk marketing campaigns and personalized 1-1 emails directly from your Gmail account as triggered by your actions within our dashboard.
  • CRM Integration: Displaying CRM tools and contact management features directly within your Gmail interface to streamline your workflow.
  • Note on Restricted Access: As of February 2026, SALD does not read, modify, delete, or monitor your inbox content, threads, or attachments. Our access is strictly limited to the "Send" functionality.

4. Google API Disclosure (Limited Use)

SALD’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

  • Specific Purpose: Data is only used to provide or improve user-facing features (sending emails).
  • No Human Access: Our team does not read your email content.
  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell, trade, or transfer your Gmail data to third parties for advertising, retargeting, or any other commercial purposes.

5. Data Protection and Security

All data transmitted between the extension and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. We adhere to strict security practices to ensure that your "Send" token is stored securely and used only for authorized actions.

6. Permissions Justification

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send: Required exclusively to transmit email campaigns and individual messages created by the user.
  • storage: For saving local configuration preferences and user settings.
  • scripting & sidePanel: To render the SALD interface and CRM tools within the Gmail browser environment.

7. User Rights

You may revoke SALD’s access to your Gmail account at any time through your Google Account Security Settings. Upon revocation, the extension will immediately lose the ability to send emails on your behalf.
